Cream Teas 2023

Sunday afternoons starting: Sunday 2nd July, 3pm – 5pm

We start our Cream Tea season on Saturday and Sunday, 1st and 2nd July with our Flower Festival and Choral Evensong – a very special service with the Leicester Cathedral Choir – Read more here.

We look forward to welcoming our regulars and new visitors to enjoy tea and homemade cakes and scones in the Langton Community Hall, where car parking and toilets are available.

St Peter’s church is open to visitors at the same time, please so take a tour of our lovely church and its grounds and then enjoy a tea!

Homemade cakes and scones available for purchase as well as plants and produce, bookmarks and Guide Books of St Peter’s Church.

Parish Admin

Every parish has a Parochial Church Council (PCC). This is a group of people who represent the church in that place, and are its main decision makers. The powers and duties of a PCC are defined by legislation, because it has charitable status. PCC members are charity trustees.

The PCC includes some people who are members because of the office they hold (the term used is ex-officio) such as licensed clergy and church wardens, and some who are elected.
