Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day are especially important this year as we remember others who have given so much in the most difficult times.
This year our service will be held on Zoom and we hope as many people as possible will join us. If you have a computer, tablet or smartphone that can receive emails it is easy to join in. We can send you a link and all you need to do is click to email us: firstname.lastname@example.org
You can join from 10.20am. The service will start at 10.30 sharp and we will encourage everyone to go out and stand in silence on your doorstop at 11.00am, then complete the service.
Afterwards a wreath will be laid at the war memorial, but this must be done in private.
There will be a short Service of All Souls in St. Peter’s Church on Saturday 31st October at 5.00pm; this will be taken by Lay Reader, Maxine Johnson. This service is to remember departed loved ones whether many years ago or recent.
During the service, the names of all those who have been put forward will be read out and there will be an opportunity to light a candle in memory of your family member or friend. If you want a member of your family or close friend to be remembered please email or phone Maxine with the details, or drop a note through her door.
COVID-19 Guidance – Please advise via Direct Message if you would like to attend as we need to know in advance. You can also contact Maxine Johnson directly, on 01858 545 745 or by email on email@example.com
If you use the Track and Trace App on your phone, the QR code is on display in church, otherwise, you will have to sign in for us upon arrival.
You must wear a mask or face covering at all times (unless permitted otherwise) and only sit in the designated seats. Hand sanitizer is available upon entry to the building.
