All aspects of fundraising to keep St Peter’s Church running and serving its community. Thanks to all our friends and visitors who support St Peter’s Church – We are so grateful for your generosity!
This year St Peter’s PCC is supporting SHARP, Shelter, Housing Advice Project for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, which has worked for homeless people in the area since 1974. The fundraising appeal is run by Christian churches across the denominations here in the city and two counties. See and read the letter below about this year’s appeal.
You can learn more and donate directly with https://leicestershelter.org.uk or you can donate with St Peter’s Church using the donate button below. We shall collate our donations and submit them together at the end of December.

We invite you to join us for our Sunday afternoon Cream Teas which resume on Sunday afternoons starting in July. We are looking forward to giving you a warm welcome once again to the lovely village of Church Langton and its church of St Peter.
It is a slightly later start to our Cream Tea season than usual, due to commitments of our volunteers with ‘Messiah’ and the recent Open Gardens events, but we are sure it will be worth the wait and look forward to welcoming our regulars and new visitors to enjoy tea and homemade cakes and scones in the Langton Community Hall, where car parking and toilets are available.
St Peter’s church is open to visitors at the same time, please so take a tour of our lovely church and its grounds and then enjoy a tea!
Homemade cakes and scones available for purchase as well as plants and produce, bookmarks and Guide Books of St Peter’s Church.
We look forward to welcoming you!
Here comes Summer! 🙂
