Musical Concert held at St. Peter’s Church, Church Langton

A packed St. Peter’s witnessed a spectacular concert on Saturday 5^th May when the audience were entertained by Janette Munroe and Il Destino, a duo made up of Jon Christos and Adam Lacey; they were supported by the choir of Church Langton Primary School.  The concert was in aid of the church roof appeal due to the three thefts of lead last year; approximately £2,600 was raised.

Janette, Jon and Adam are professional artists with a wealth of experience around the world, singing with other top artists including shows on Broadway and the West End. They truly brought the West End to Church Langton with song from top musicals, films and other popular works.  The choir of Church Langton too, were wonderful and in very fine voice, not at all fazed by the occasion, thanks to the hard work of their musical teacher Alan Kirkland. 

Thanks must go to Peter Oppenheimer and his team ‘The Village People’ who organised the event, along with members of the P.C.C. The sponsor of the event, Un.titled and all who made this such a memorable occasion.
