About St Peter's Church, Church Langton, Leicestershire

St Peter's church is set in the village of Church Langton, in south Leicestershire, near to the town of Market Harborough. Worship is Church of England (Anglican). St Peter's is one of the churches forming the Benefice of the Langtons and Shangton in the Diocese of Leicester. St Peter's serves three villages, Church Langton, West Langton and East Langton and has friends and visitors from all over. We love to meet new people and visitors. Everyone is welcome! Services coming up ‘live’ in church

Just to bring you all up to speed with worship on Sundays remaining in July, both ‘live’ in St Peter’s church.

Guided Tour St Peter’s Church

This Sunday 18th July, 2021 – 2pm

As part of the month long Festival of Archaeology in Leicestershire & Rutland https://leicsfieldworkers.org/festival-of-archaeology/ this second of two guided tours will highlight the tremendous history of the church from an early medieval naked figure, the 16th Century martyr Laurence Saunders, 18th Century eccentric and visionary William Hanbury and organ casing for the first performance in a parish church of Handel’s Messiah, to the beautiful renovations designed by the architect Joseph Goddard.

Adults £4 Cash only on the day please. Children FREE.
