Here are just a few photos of St Peter’s following the beautiful wedding last weekend. People came in large numbers on Sunday to see them, thank you!
Here are the flowers, to remind us of a special day.

With grateful thanks to our wedding families who generously suggested we share their gorgeous flower arrangements with the community and our wider community online.
A reminder that this Sunday, a special and unique event at St Peter’s takes place, following a wedding the previous day. St Peter’s is undergoing an amazing transformation today, with flowers arranged by a London florist, that will remain in the church for the community and wider audience to enjoy on Sunday. The family have generously offered this in the hope that much need funds will be raised for the upkeep of the church building.

Cream teas at Community Hall
Cream Teas will begin and run every Sunday afternoon from Sunday 27th June, and hopefully, until the end of September. The church will be open for visitors as usual, but to provide toilets and handwashing facilities, the Cream Teas will now be held in the Community Hall. Home made cakes and scones available for purchase as well as plants and produce.

We are delighted to tell you about a new fundraiser for St Peter’s – beautiful bookmarks, designed and produced by Northamptonshire artist, Eric Peplow.
Eric is a member of the art group at Wilbarston, and has been a supporter of St Peter’s by joining our occasional drawing mornings with Church Langton artist, Maxine Dodd.
Eric is a keen supporter of historic church buildings and has made bookmarks for several churches in Northamptonshire where he lives to help with fundraising. His generous offer to make some for St Peter’s was accepted without hesitation!

Eric visited the church again to make sketches and reference photos and then painted the final image at home. He included a name plate on the wall, which gives lovely detail to the painting. He has a printer with whom he works to produce the bookmarks.

The finishing touch is the tassel. What colour would you like? The choice was obvious, red, because it is the colour long associated with our saint, Peter. They add a sparkle that complements Eric’s delicate watercolour painting beautifully.
